The day before Jordan's toe injury, Lauren decided —don't ask me why!— to shove a kernel of corn up her nose. Then she decided that wasn't so cool after all, but the more she tried to get it out, the further in she pushed it. Finally, she was so panicky we took her to the hospital, where they pulled it out for her. Word must have gotten around, because when we took Jordan in to get his toe stitched up, they laughed and snickered and called us "the ones with the corn up the nose"!
