Hannah: "Mom. Did you know about Martha and Mary?"
Me: "Oh, I do! Tell me about it!"
Hannah: "Well there was a lady named Martha and one named Mary."
Me: "I see."
Hannah: "Jesus went to their house. Martha was cleaning and cooking."
Me: "Wow. She must have had a lot of work to do."
Hannah: "Yes. And Mary was just sitting there listening to Jesus."
Me: "Hmmm. Then what?"
Hannah: "Martha wanted Mary to help her in the kitchen. But Mary wouldn't, so Martha told on her."
Me: "What did Jesus say?"
Hannah: "That Martha should be like Mary and listen to Him talk."
Me: "Wow. Great job telling it, Hannah! What does this story teach us?"
Hannah: "It teaches us that- If you are going to have company, you should have your house ready before they get there."
BRILLIANT!!!!!"
